Zak Doehla

Managing Director, Private Equity

Zachary (Zak) Doehla is a Managing Director of Global Private Equity at BLG Capital Advisors (BLG), leading all sourcing, execution and management of private equity funds, co-investments and minority equity investments. Mr. Doehla also serves on the Management & Investment Committees for BLG. During his 20+ year career, Mr. Doehla has executed over $4.5 billion in 130+ fund and co-investment transactions across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Prior to joining BLG in 2015, Mr. Doehla served as Director of Alternative Investments at CUNA Mutual Group, and managed the $6 billion global private equity portfolio for the Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System. Additionally, Mr. Doehla acted as Director at Bridge Finance Group, and spent six years as Senior Financial Consultant for ManorCare, Inc.

Zak serves on the corporate Board of Directors of several middle market operating companies and sits on the Advisory Board of a number of private equity funds.

Mr. Doehla earned his MBA from the Ohio State University and holds a BS from Indiana University.
