BLG Capital Advisors’ real estate private equity group is focused on opportunistic and value-oriented commercial real estate transactions both domestically and abroad. Our clients invest in single property transactions and property portfolios in a wide variety of direct equity structures, including at the operating company/enterprise-level and in portfolio aggregations, stand-alone asset acquisitions, and joint ventures with best-in-class operating partners.
Our direct real estate equity strategy is particularly focused on opportunities with unlocked value or growth potential in niche segments of the industrial and residential property sectors. We generally target equity investments of $10-$75+ million, with a preference for longer-term hold horizons, often in the construct of portfolio aggregation structures.

Value-add opportunities for properties in the industrial, office and residential sectors that are under-funded or under-capitalized where value can be created by acquiring at an attractive basis and implementing asset management and capital expenditure initiatives to drive income and underlying value.
